Sweet Sounds

Morgan seems to find new sounds to make every day or two. Sometimes she learn one, do it all day and then not at all for a few days/weeks...then do it again suddenly. Sometimes she learns a new sound and keeps it going continually. Here's a few of the latest ones:

* Raspberries - This is one she did a few weeks ago and then seemed to forget she could do it. This weekend she started doing it again. At one point we put her in her crib for a nap (we are trying to get her to go to sleep on her own, fairly unsuccessfully) and she hung out there for about 5 minutes blowing raspberries before she decided she was upset and started crying. It was fun to watch her on the video monitor "talking" to herself and randomly blowing raspberries.

* Squeals/Squeaks - She has made a "squeaky" sounds since the day she was born. We used to call her our "squeaky baby." She originally did this just in her sleep, but now she does it while awake. She's figured out she can make this sound while inhaling and it's usually at the end of another bunch of noises she makes, like some sort of final emphasis! This is a very happy sound so she's almost always smiling when she's doing it.

* Clicking - I'm not sure if David's even noticed this yet, but sometimes I hear her making a clicking noise with her tongue. It's not very loud, and you can't really "see" her do it, but when it happens there's nothing else I can figure out that would be making that sound.

I wish I could post a sound byte for you...she's just so cute I could eat her up!
